Shelter said they'd wait til I move for me to adopt her! Lots of stress off my back! Not having a fenced yard will suck but its only for a year.

D went to my house and picked up that ginormous pile of leaves and took it out to the dump for me. That was very nice of him.

Made D ask for a 24hr extension on getting out of the house. I thought we were handing keys over sat and he said no 4pm! I was like no way get an extension. He kept acting like he couldn't do that, well then he did. Worked all day and have to go back tomorrow for some packing. All the big stuff is out.

Couldn't get anything done I tried today. D had drama with his mom and had to leave work. She is running a fever today. Made some progress today. Stripped the same two ft section in the bathroom since 10 this morning. Fortunately not too much section left though finishing this is going to be a bear. Probably easier to redo the whole thing. The problem is the mild stripper. Normally that stuff works in fifteen minutes and takes everything off. This stuff I'm using ( Read more... )

Watching disaster DIY and hoping that won't be me! Lol. I hope today's stripping is more successful. I got a new cheap putty knife that is not as bendy. I am refraining from using metal since I think it would scratch the tile. I was thinking I might have wore down the plastic ones I had.
